Description

FMO Injection is a potent combination of a bacteriostatic antibiotic and a least hepatotoxic, non-narcotic & anti-endotoxic NSAID. It binds irreversibly to receptors on the 30S sub-unit of the bacterial ribosome where it prevents the addition of amino acids to the elongating peptide chain and ultimately inhibits protein synthesis. Additionally, FMO works by reversibly inhibiting the enzyme cyclooxygenase to decrease the formation of precursors of prostaglandins which are involved in central pyresis, pain perception and tissue inflammation.
